Flexible partial dentures
are removable dentures you keep in a “glass of water”. They replace spaces between your own teeth. Metal clasps are not used to attach them in the mouth which makes them more comfortable for patients. are dentures which replace all the teeth. Factory made teeth attached to a resin basis are used for these dentures. They hold in the oral cavity thanks to adhesion. It is important that these types of dentures are made precisely, from the impressions to the final polishing. We now have a material which makes these dentures very comfortable for patients.
Removable partial dentures
are removable dentures you keep in a “glass of water”. They replace spaces between your own teeth. are dentures which replace all the teeth. They are attached to one or two roots of the own teeth or to implants. Sometimes mini implants are used. They consist of factory made teeth. Here can also be used a soft type of material for the patients comfort.
Telescopic crowns are used to attach removable dentures. Telescopic crowns consist of two parts. The inner part is permanently cemented to the tooth stump. The outer part is a component of a removable denture. These two parts precisely fit into each other and create adhesion which is why these dentures hold very well in the mouth.
Prevention is better than treatment. The better care you take of your teeth and gums, the less time you will need to spend in the dentist’s office.
